All students will be provided with course materials. All textbooks, workbooks, and slides are complied by MIftaah scholars and tailor-made for the Miftaah Online Seminary.
Portal Access
Students will have access to live instruction and all class recordings via the Miftaah Portal. This portal will allow you to view all recordings, materials, and teacher notes on one platform.
Quizzes, Homework & Tests
All courses include assignments, quizzes and assessments. The purpose of this is for the student to track their progress and growth in each course.

WHAT IS 
MIFTAAH ONLINE?

2 Year Graduation Track

22 courses are required to be completed in order for a student to graduate from the Miftaah Online Seminary. Each department has its own track to earn a certificate of completion. Students will also be given a certificate at the completion of each semester. Student transcripts are available upon request.

Semester Instructors

Learn from Traditionally Trained Scholars

Shaykh Tariq Musleh

Shaykh Tariq Musleh is a graduate from the prestigious Madinah University where he attained his Associate degree in Arabic and Bachelors Degree from the College of Sharia. He completed his memorization of Quran at the age of 13 and went on to receive ijaza from Palestine. He studied Classical Arabic at the Fajr Center in Egypt. Shaykh Tariq has worked as a part time instructor for Islamic Learning Foundation Chicago, where he taught Quran and Arabic studies. He has served in Young Muslims (YM) for many years as a coordinator and murrabi. Shaykh Tariq has also served as the Youth Director for the Islamic Center of Naperville in Chicago and became the Youth Director and Assistant Imam of Mecca Center in Willowbrook, Illinois in July 2017.

Shaykh Hamzah Imtiaz

Shaykh Hamzah Imtiaz currently serves as the Resident Scholar at the Islamic Foundation of Greater St. Louis (IFGSTL) in St. Louis, Missouri. He holds several ijāzahs (teaching licenses) in the Islamic sciences as a result of his 6 year journey of seeking knowledge.

Mufti Abdul Wahab Waheed

Mufti Abdul Wahab is a Co-founder at Miftaah Institute and also is a Co-Founder and Director at Michigan Islamic Institute. Mufti Abdul Wahab Waheed was born and raised in Ann Arbor, MI. He began Islamic studies at Jaamiah al-Uloom al-Islamiyyah in Canada where he became a Hafiz at the age of 11. Upon the completion of his Tahfeedhul Ul Quran, Mufti Abdul Wahab decided to continue his studies in Islamic sciences.

Shaykh Daood Butt

Shaykh Daood Butt was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. Following secondary studies, he obtained a degree in Automotive Technology and was nominated amongst Canadas Top Graduates of 2002. During this time, he studied with local Imams and was hired as an Imam and Quran instructor at a local mosque. He went on to study at the Islamic University of Madinah for seven years, during which he completed a Diploma in Arabic Language followed by a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology and Islamic Dawah from the Faculty of Dawah and Usool Ad-Deen in 2010.

Mufti Abdul Wahab Waheed

Shaykh Daood Butt was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. Shaykh Daood is currently pursuing a Master of Arts Degree in Islamic and Other Civilizations at the International Islamic University in Malaysia.

Imam Ali Hofioni

Imam Ali Hofioni is currently serving the GTA community as an Imam, instructor, director and counselor at Ummah Nabawiah Masjid. He received numerous ijazah of transmission in all six famously authentic books of hadith from his teachers.
