In order for one to truly be able to understand the Holy Quran they must connect and associate themselves to the prophetic narrations. Hence on the greatest purposes for studying the science of Hadith is that this religion is dependent on Hadith, because the Qur’an is concise and it is in need of explanation to make things clear, and that can only be accomplished by the Ahadith.
As Muslims, we all claim to have immense love for our beloved Prophet (SAW). However, sometimes we find it rather difficult to express our love for him in manners which reflects our true connection to him (SAW). As we study his life we naturally adapt the love and connection his habits, practices, and traditions. Thus, making it easier for us to express our love for him and understand the Quran that was revealed upon him.
Nahw or grammar focuses on word endings. Ending sounds will determine the role of a word in a sentence.First we will start with the 4 properties of a word, then look at fragments, and finally study the different types of sentences found in the Arabic language.
The study of sarf or morphology teaches us word types, patterns, conjugation, derivation and other things. Hundreds of words are able to be derived based on specific roots and patternsWe will study the different sarf families, learn the implications of each family, and understand word meanings based off of their unique patterns.
Imam Al-Bukhari’s Sahih is well known, but he also wrote a dedicated work on mannerisms titled Al-Adab Al-Mufrad. In this class, we will focus on a select number of Hadiths of the Prophet (s) from this monumental work that will help us grow in our spiritual development through perfecting our character.

Shaykh Abdullah Waheed was born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, MI. He commenced his studies at the age of 10 in Toronto, Canada where he went to memorize the Quran. He completed the memorization of the Holy Quran by the tender age of 13 and then went on to study in the 7 year extensive Shariah program in Toronto, Canada. Shaykh Abdullah then continued his research and studies, which took him on global journeys, such as Pakistan, Kuwait, and England.
Mufti Abdul Wahab is Co-founder at Miftaah Institute. He also travels extensively across North America for dawah purposes. Throughout his travels, Mufti Abdul Wahab has addressed communities across the United States on a wide range of Islamic topics.
Shaykh Hamzah Imtiyaz currently serves as the Resident Scholar at the Islamic Foundation of Greater St. Louis (IFGSTL) in St. Louis, Missouri.He holds several ijāzahs (teaching licenses) in the Islamic sciences as a result of his 6 year journey of seeking knowledge.

The 30th Juz of the Quran, or Juz Amma consists of 37 of the shorter Surahs that were mostly revealed in the Makkan era. Most of these Surahs are memorized by Muslims and read often in the daily prayers.
